Common Questions
How do you do photoshoots?
I love being by your side and showing you just how beautiful you are. It really warms my heart for me to see how excited you get over seeing these pictures. In your shoot, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your shoot unique.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm in Kalamazoo, based in the lovely Mitten state, and yes, I love to travel! I have traveled everywhere inside Michigan, and outside it as well. I am happy to travel out of state for your session
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 2 months (sometimes less, depending on the season I photograph your shoot!). You can download all the photos from the gallery and share them.
How far in advance should I book?
This is one question I hear frequently. One thing I will say, is if it's a wedding, make sure you book at LEAST 3-4 months ahead. Any other shoot, if you are on the edge, just take a look outside or check your forecast! It sometimes really depends on weather
Do you help instruct posing? I kind of feel awkward/unphotogenic
Of course! I always help with finding the perfect pose for you! There is times where I have a specific reference and I will pull up the reference photo. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward!
